Description

“Gravity” is a unique knife holder in a minimalist and stylish design. The asymmetrical cut along the edge – cutting edge if you want – gives the knife holder a light in the look, which gives an illusion that the blades float in the slit of the holder.
“Gravity” has a naturally raw design by virtue of the materials; High quality Danish oak, steamed to give the tree the unique dark shade complimented by the massive brass detail.
The inspiration behind “Gravity” is a mixture of maritime fascination, childish Viking dream and classical Nordic minimalism. Danish oak trees were the material the Vikings used for their ships – and therefore the knife holder slopes into both ends to provide associations to ships, but with a modern and simple look.
Each product is assembled in hand to ensure the right finish.
